Give local to help those with disabilities shine!

Help make #Giving Tuesday as popular as Cyber Monday and Black Friday by donating to a local non-profit organization. We chose the Cape Cod Challenger Club as our #GivingTuesday recipient for 2017.

This unheralded group of volunteers treats kids and adults with disabilities like stars, opening up opportunities for social and athletic activities that would normally not be available to them.

What began in 2004 as a small group of children playing baseball in Sandwich, MA has evolved into an organization that serves hundreds of children, young adults and adults from Plymouth to Chatham.

In the winter, programs like basketball, martial arts and bowling are offered--all free of charge to eligible participants, and all focusing on building confidence and self esteem instead of competition. Each season brings fresh programs suited to the time of year.

The Challenger Club's year-round activities include dances and socials events, plus programs in art, music, fitness activities and age-appropriate social clubs.

This is an all-volunteer organization funded solely through charitable contributions, fundraising effort and grants. 100% of the money raised is directly used for the operation of the organization's program right here in Cape Cod.

Consider joining us in making a donation to The Challenger Club of Cape Cod this year and put the focus on helping those with disabilities shine in social, athletic and recreational settings!
