This workshop will provide an overview of the importance of parent input and ways to ensure that the whole child is being considered when determining appropriate services and placement options.  We will review the many types of assessments and how to seek an outside evaluation or an IEE, and how to choose an evaluator.  We will also cover how to read and understand these reports and how the information is incorporated into the IEP
